Murder in Jarra

do you remember a Mrs Wilson she was in court on a murder charge ,she had poisend some of her husbands ,some time in the 50 i think Mel T.

That would have been "widow" Wilson from Windy Nook, born Hebburn.

Think she used to live on Collingwood St or one of the near ones.

My sister in law used to run to the shops for her.

my dad was the foreman on the jury on her trial and had to give the decision to hang her she screamed at him that she would haunt him luckily for him she wasn't hanged because of her age and served life imprisonment

I used to work with her GRandaughter at John Colliers her nana used to poison the sweets.
