Hello to Everyone

Hi.. I'm not used to forums so it has taken me forever to find out how to post

I was born and bred in Jarrow and still live here.

I was born in Palmer street just across from Jarrow Steel works and went to the Grange school, Perth Green and Hedworthfield.


Look forward to participating in what looks like a great site, I'm sure I'll get the hang of it.

I've just been reading all the memories, it was lovely being reminded of those hard but very happy days.

Hi Andy... its a brilliant site, I've missed all of Lewis cos I got so interested in it.

I was looking for the school photos but can't find them.. I'll have to come back tomorrow.

There are some great photos.. just been looking at the one of the Calf Close kilties... I had forgotton I was in the Hedworth legionairs for years but never got past playing the kazoo lol.

Hi Brogs... if you look at the blue bar at the top...... next to 'User CP' you will see 'All Albums'... you should find the photo's you are looking for......
